Matthew 2:13-15 His Protection

New International Version (NIV)
The Escape to Egypt13 When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. "Get up," he said, "take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him."
14 So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, 15 where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."

Just A Thought...
The birth of Jesus was met with little fanfare. Joseph's little family was safe. But once Herod realized a king had been born he was threatened. Joseph was unaware of any danger.Thankfully God was looking out for Joseph and his family. The birth of Jesus was a great blessing and responsibility. In infancy Jesus was already hated. God sends Joseph and his family to Egypt and safety.
In everyday life we face challenges. God provides us with solutions whether we recognize them or not. We need to realize that if we have our meals today, if we have clothes and even a few pennies in our pocket, we're under the protection of God. If your attitude is one of poor me and you're only able to see negatives in your life. You need to change your attitude and seek God's knowledge and the spiritual growth it offers, not to mention the blessings that ride along with it. Jesus had fellowship with God from the beginning. God is with us from the beginning as well. He stays with us always! If he feels far away to you. You need to find your way back to him through prayer, scripture and worship!

Prayer: Dear Lord, Thank you for always traveling with me. Help me to recognize your blessings in my life and be thanful. Amen
